BOOM! First Contested Case Final Judgment in Texas Business Court

On June 16, 2025, Judge Bill Whitehill (First Division) entered a final judgment in Primexx Energy Opportunity Fund, LP et al. v. Primexx Energy Corporation, Cause No. 24-BC01B-0010, pending in the First Division of the Texas Business Court.
The final judgment disposed of a dispute between Primexx Energy Corp. and minority investors in the company. The case arose from a challenge brought by minority limited partners in Primexx Energy Partners, Ltd. alleging breaches of both fiduciary and contractual duties
This marks the first final judgment in a case in the Texas Business Court. This case has been pending for roughly eight months, since its original filing in the business court on October 25, 2024.
